Here are a few handy hints to assist you when searching the Health Edition archives dating back to June 6th, 1997.

  • Use the plus (+) sign to search for multiple keywords in one article. For example: long-term care + Alberta.
  • Using phrases such as "long-term care in Alberta" will produce search results with that exact phrase.
  • Use quotation marks around a keyword if you are having trouble getting an exact word match. For example: "eHealth".
  • The searches are not case sensitive. For example, CIHR or cihr will produce the same search results.
  • To search within a specific date range, select the date parameters from the drop down menus. The results will display in reverse chronological order (the newest article first).
